Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive & Pick up from Leh Airport at 3505 Meters or 11567 feet

Once you reached at Kushok Bakula Airport of Leh, our representative will pick you and will assist you to transfer to your pre-booked hotel of Leh.

Upon arrival at hotel, check in to your room and you will be free for acclimatization. Later, post lunch you can go and visit to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.

 

In the evening you can take a walk around local bazaar. Later return to hotel for dinner and night stay at Leh hotel.

Day 2 Sham Valley Tour

This morning, after breakfast, we offer full day sightseeing in Sham valley (Indus & Zanskar River Sangam). So, let’s drive along with Indus river and visit below place:

Pathar Sahib Gurdwara – This is an amazing and beautiful Gurdwara, located about 40 km from Leh at Leh-Kargil Road near Magnetic Hill. It was built in the memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Magnetic Hill – The layout of the area and surrounding slopes create the optical illusion of a hill.

Spituk Monastery or Spituk / Pethup Gompa – This is a Buddhist monastery, which is located 8 km and at an average elevation of 3,307 metres above from the sea level in Leh district of Ladakh. The site of Spituk was blessed by the Arhat Nyimagung.

Hall of Fame – is a ARMY War Memorial / Museum, constructed and run by India Army, built in the memories of brave Indian soldiers who laid down their lives defending the motherland in the Indo-Pak wars. Later come back to hotel for dinner and overnight at the hotel in Leh.

Day 3 Leh –Pangong Lake – Leh (155 Km) 05 Hours Drive

Today after morning breakfast check out from Leh hotel and we leave for Pangong Lake or Pangong Tso through Changla pass at the height of 5486 Meters. Pangong Lake, situated at 4,225 meters) 13,862 feet above the sea level.

Pangong Lake is a disputed territory among the India and China. The Line of Actual Control passes through the lake. A section of the lake approximately 20 km east from the Line of Actual Control is controlled by China but claimed by India.

The eastern end of the lake is in Tibet. After the mid-19th century, Pangong Tso was at the southern end of Johnson Line, an early attempt at demarcation between India and China in the Aksai Chin region.

A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the lake and spend rest of day also overnight with nature and unforgettable scenic view.

Day 4 Pangong Lake to Leh (150 Km) 5 Hours Drive

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Leh en-route visiting Thiksey Monastery or Thikse Gompa is located at an altitude of 3,600 metres (11,800 ft) in the Indus Valley.

Thiksey Monastery is affiliated with the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is 19 km from Leh and located on the top of a hill in east of Leh in Ladakh, India.

It is noted for its resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet and is the largest Gompa in central Ladakh.

This twelve-storey complex and houses many items of Buddhist art such as stupas, statues, thangkas, wall paintings and swords.

After this wonderful visit return back to Leh, after refresh explore local markets around the Leh city. Later come back for night stay at Leh hotel.

Day 5 Departure – Leh Airport

Morning, have breakfast and now it’s time to go back to home with the memories of your Incredible Ladakh tour.

 

Transfer to Leh Airport to board the flight to your onward destination.
